A 500mL (0.5 L) double-wall stainless steel bottle with a leak-proof lid. Cold for 6+ hours. Hot for 6, warm for 12. In our own tests, ice water sealed in the bottle was still cold after 6 hours, and freshly boiled water at room temperature still read 72 °C (162 °F) after 6 hours and 49 °C (120 °F) after 12. How to read it:

  • Press firmly with your fingertip on the center of the lid to show the temperature.
  • The sensor sits in the lid, so after filling, give the display up to 15 minutes to settle on the new temperature.
  • The display reads in Celsius. Quick guide: 5 °C = 41 °F (cold water), 20 °C = 68 °F (room temperature), 37 °C = 98.6 °F (body temperature), 50 °C = 122 °F (warm), 60 °C = 140 °F (hot), 80 °C = 176 °F (very hot).

Good to Know:

  • The LED battery lasts 5-6 months with regular use.
  • To replace it, twist the LED cap cover to the right, remove the component, and gently swap in a new CR2032 lithium coin battery (3V).
  • Only the screen is battery powered. Your bottle's insulation always works.
  • Battery is user-replaceable and safe, just like those in watches, key fobs, and scales.
  • Wipe the lid clean with a damp cloth. Do not soak or submerge the lid, the display circuit sits inside it.
